Not only is the Marlborough Sounds one of the most incredible areas in New Zealand, the nutrient-rich waters attract a wide variety of dolphins, fur seals and seabirds. You will not find a tour anywhere else in the country that offers a chance to see so many terrestrial birds and seabirds along with a variety of marine mammals against such a spectacular backdrop. Dolphin Watch is owned and operated by trained marine biologists and we take a great amount of time to train our boat crews in order to be certain they are providing the most interesting and accurate information about the wildlife and the region.
